Jana Sistig
Born 2006
I've been playing softball since I was 6 years old – back then it was still baseball with the Wesseling Vermins. Since 2019, I've been part of the German National Team. Starting with U16, then U18, U22 in 2024, and since 2025 on the Women's National Team. At 17, I got the opportunity to play in the Dutch professional league and have been a permanent member of the squad ever since. That means: For over two years, I've been playing a double season – competing in both the German and Dutch Bundesliga every weekend. In 2024, I graduated from a sports school in Bonn. At 17, I moved into a sports boarding school to balance academics and competitive sports. Softball is my life and has been with me ever since.
